Sofa Cushion with No cushion????
I bought this thinking it was a Pillow Sham But found out it's called a 'Sofa Cushion'. Now that would still be find, except there's No cushion, just what appears to be the Top piece. Also there's no opening to insert any type of pillow of fluff.
There is a nice piece of Fabric made into a 'ruffle' on one side only.
Any ideas????

OP11 months agofinally figured out what it is, ðŸ˜. You don't put a sofa cushion In it, you put it on Top of Your cushion. I'm thinking it was something you would put out when Company came or anytime you wanted your sofa to look better than it is, lol.
When the 'archive brain' started working again, I remembered these from many years ago.

OP11 months agooh, no, it's my own piece. I bought it at an Estate Sale and just couldn't figure out why it didn't have any openings for a 'cushion' or pillow.
the Brain is 'on', the Brain is 'off', and one never knows which is which some days, lolo

I was asking if anyone knew 'what it was'. It had nothing to do with an eBay sale.
Just asking for information on an item.
I thought these boards were where you could ask for information, but I apologize if that's no longer the case.

OP11 months agoThank you so much lacemaker3 for the great help! I can't see where there ever was any filling, But I'm off to check on a hidden zipper as I hadn't pulled on each of the side seams, just gave them a looking over.
I wonder if it Possibly could of been a 'demonstration' type piece to give Customers an idea of what the fabric looked and felt like?????

·11 months agoThis is a google images translation of the information on the tag.
It says that the filling is 100% polyester, and that you are supposed to separate the pieces and wash separately. That implies that there is a way to remove the filling, and it looks as though the filling for yours has been lost. It's possible that there is a concealed zipper in one of the seams. Or the opening may have been sewn up.
