I bought an item, seller didn't send since it cost more to ship than they had posted

Seller said they cancelled sale and hit the refund buyer button. I have received neither the item or my $350. back. Seller says eBay has the money. Ebay says I have to wait until 5/30 for them to get involved.

If the seller cancels, the refund is issued automatically to your payment source. If you used a c.c., the credit should show on your bank statement.

As for the seller saying ebay still has the money, that's possibly correct. Ebay often holds funds from seller access but when a refund is issued, the funds go to the buyer from the seller's bank account.

When the order was canceled, what was the reason shown for the cancellation?
