Duplicate listing violations ebay will not enforce. Why?
Searching "custom vinyl decals" brings up multiple accounts running the exact same listings from the exact same location. The chances of the 6 different accounts that I've found so far being separate individual sellers, 4 of which are all run out of the same location, and the other 2 being only a short distance away while also using the same exact listings is pretty close to zero. Obviously, it's the same seller. After numerous reports, why is the duplicate listing policy not being enforced here, when this clearly violates that policy?
Ebay policy regarding duplicate listings that are NOT allowed:
More than one listing of an identical item listed separately by the same seller:
Under another eBay user ID
The following will be considered "one seller" under this policy if the accounts are used to sell duplicate listings:
Multiple accounts from an individual
Multiple accounts from a single business
Multiple accounts from multiple businesses that are – fully or partially – owned by the same individual or related individuals
Multiple accounts from related individuals, including family, friends, roommates, employees, or online connections

·11 months agoI think the best way to get satisfaction on these rule breakers is to buy the same custome vinyl decal from each of the accounts( owned by same guy) and then say they don't fit but the real ruse here is you take the custome vinyl decal from one store and return it to a different store and then come here and let us know so we can all have our lulz on sticking it to the criminals.

·11 months agoA lot of policies are not enforced. I can see why duplicate listings would rank rather low on the list of worries. Why worry about it? â“

OP11 months agoIt's giving the illusion of options, when in actuality it's the same seller. If I have a bad experience with a certain seller, I don't want to be tricked into purchasing from them again from one of their multiple accounts running multiple duplicate listings.

·11 months agoMy guess is there are many policy violations going on and I suspect eBay deals with them in some sort of priority order that rates duplicate listings low on the list.

OP11 months agoI wonder how long it will take for them to enforce this, if ever? I've noticed these duplicate listings for months now but haven't really looked into the accounts running them until recently.

·11 months agoI did a search for "custom vinyl decals" and only looked at the ones with this picture and I see 4 that are shipping from the same location in the US.

OP11 months agoYes, this is one. Nearly the whole first page of my search results are listings from these same 4 accounts that are shipping from the same city or from 2 other accounts that are within ~30 miles of this same city that also have some of the same listings as the other 4.
