Sword or cutlass identification.
Found this cutlass or short sword at a San Antonio, Texas estate sale. Has a brass guard and handle and rusted iron blade. Measures 18" overall with the blade being 13". The tang is marked with some type of symbol. See attached photos for details. Need help in identifing this. Thanks, Scott
