eBay will often have a careful stance regarding such questionable items. Now.
While they might filter out items like that, obviously there are ways to post it that get around that filtering. I won't acknowledge or explain how that can be done, nor would I condone it, but here's the thing:
If you managed to get it listed, and its taken down, then don't try to list it again. That is a quick path to getting in trouble with eBay, regardless if others are able to get a questionable item past a filter or not.
Chances are they may get blocked too eventually. But that's not something you can worry about. You can only worry about what you sell and whether the risk is worth getting an account action that could prevent you from selling any items.

Don't remember where it was, but it was on one of the news sites.
