Tango glass is one of the most misrepresented and misunderstood designs in existence. In reality Loetz did very little tango designs and Powolny every less so. Most Tango was made by Welz or Kralik although nearly all Czech companies as well as a couple in Germany and elsewhere. The one linked as an example is not Loetz/Powolny
Thanks for this. Even I (having only a little knowledge) have noticed that "Loetz" is used for practically anything iridescent. It's a shame that the knowledge exists (you obviously have it) yet these misrepresentations (downright lies, really) continue unabated. Buyer beware.
I've seen a lot of glass but I'm but I'm by no means an expert. But this seems somewhat similar technique-wise. Maybe it's a place to start but hopefully someone can be more definitive for you.
