Ebay claiming my Coach and Michael kors handbag are fake when they aren't

Ebay is a bunch of liars. I listed two handbags on was a coach bag that sold to someone it was not a fake or counterfeit bag. It was given to me by my Mom for Christmas. And just recently they claimed the Michael kors handbag I bought myself in Macy's is fake it is not a paid full price for it in Macy's and was asking $50.00 for it. Tired of Ebay's lies about my bags being counterfeit on it's site when I know they aren't. Thinking of closing my account been a customer on here for a long time. Ebay is really starting to **bleep** me off.

Even after I appealed and provided receipts, tags, the internal QR code, and every kind of photo imaginable, my appeals were rejected. I contacted a chat agent, but they just repeated—like a bot—that I shouldn't list them again, and today I got blocked for seven days. Honestly, I don't know what to do about it. I'll have to use other platforms to sell them.

My rule of thumb is if eBay does not want it sold here and I am certain it can be sold, I put it elsewhere. But - I will tell you that other platforms are as as bad as eBay when it comes to pull listings they think are fake. So don't think it can't happen elsewhere.

Others sell the exact same bags, yet they’ve singled me out—and not for the first time! Honestly, it’s really frustrating.

If you are able to sell it in person, maybe that is the better way if you are concerned about listings getting taken down. You may get a little less, but put the word out to the right people and someone will want them. I had a LV a couple of years ago. I told my college-aged niece to tell her friends and one of her friends bought it. I got a little less, but no stress.

·7 months agoLike many department stores, Coach also has had instances in which dishonest customers bought genuine items and used genuine receipts to return fakes. It was rare that it happened though.
Coach employees, both at boutiques and at outlets are trained to sell current items. They aren't trained to authenticate and in fact, they've erred when they go against company policy by trying to be authenticators. And because they're not trained to authenticate and not knowledgeable of past items, styles, promotional items, department store exclusives, etc. they've even erred in deeming authentic items as fake as well as calling fakes authentic!
Again, made for factory styles and items are no less authentic than items that are made for Coach (mall) stores and department store items.
Like every category of across the board, there can be shoddy workmanship. (Even Mercedes Benz, Porsche and BMW have lemons.) Sloppiness and carelessness don't necessarily mean an item is fake.
Coach prices are not like Hermes or even Louis Vuitton and although Coach is well made and can last a lifetime or longer, it's not going to be at Hermes, LV and Chanel's levels of perfection.

·7 months agoFor many years, some Coach bags sold at the Coach Outlet Stores were viewed by "Coach Experts" as counterfeit. Those bags were never sold to Coach Retailers and had lower quality control standards. This was not true of all bags sold at Coach Outlet Stores.
This is not my area of expertise but the issue of Coach bags failing authentication is not new.

I'm not aware of outlet bags, whether MFF (made for factory) or deletes (bags sent to outlets from Coach boutique stores) EVER being "viewed" as counterfeit --- ever!
Some MFF items are not as detailed as similar FP (full priced) items and are less expensive but certainly aren't fake.
Please post where you saw what you're claiming.

In the past, going back decades, there were both buyer and seller reports of Coach Outlet Store purchases being brought to Coach retail stores and department stores and being identified as counterfeit due to inferior stitching and trim. There were also Coach products which never had been offered to Coach retailers, differing from their products in color and patterns.
I have seen what should clearly be marked as seconds, and would not be offered in Coach authorized retailers which were for sale in Coach Outlet Stores without any marking to indicate they are not first quality.

I see that you left a buyer a feedback in which you referenced their allegation of a fake Coach bag, denied by you. (You got an automatic feedback from ebay on that sale. Lucky you!)
But because the listing was removed, we can't see the bag and comment on authenticity.

·7 months agoAdding that no sales or listings are showing on this account for the past 90+ days, so at this point not much anyone can except give suggestions. If you do want to keep selling, suggest working on getting the feedback score improved. While that big red negative should roll off in about 6 months, it is not helping things now.

·7 months agoNot all rejections are because the item(s) is fake. Often it is because the description does not match the item. What did the messages say?
