Counterfeit
Hello I am very frustrated right now. I have been selling on eBay since 2020. I never had a problem until recently. I had a bag taken down saying that it was possibly counterfeit even though it had a COA I sent the bag back to the platform, I got it from and got a COA with pictures and documentation as to why they feel that the bag is real I was told I can put the bag back up. I put the bag back up. I got it taken back down and got a 10 day suspension the other bag that they took down I actually bought from a reputable seller on eBay that sells thousands of bags that bag has been up since September 30 and was taken down two days ago because they’re saying that one is also counterfeit it’s frustrating cause they don’t allow you enough space to fight your claim and they only allow three pictures. I wanna know how I can contact someone other than customer service because they’re doing nothing to explain all of this. Can you point me in the right direction

What was the brand of the bag that was allegedly counterfeit?
You can post pictures on the handbag board and if there's someone who knows that brand well, they'll give an opinion.
One important note: Not all companies and entities that issue COAs are to be trusted. Some "authenticate" using AI but they don't update corrections so they can't fix their algorithms. Other companies don't use knowledgeable brand experts who aren't knowledgeable of the intricasies of what differentiates a genuine item from a fake.
In fact, I've seen a nearly $700 fake Coach bag with a COA that deems it as genuine. It was removed some time ago but the seller must have appealed and with a COA, ebay is off the hook. I feel for the buyer who will get taken by this fake!
Again, if you post pictures and if there's someone who knows that brand, they can offer an opinion.

Often when a listing is taken down as a counterfeit, it's because the brand owner reported it. When that happens, eBay is required to remove the listing. Without knowing what brand the bags are, we are not able to provide any insight. However, I am including a link to the eBay VeRo page that lists the brands that are most likely to report listings. Many of those on the list have a link to open to obtain more information.
