Bought a replica bag unaware
I bought what I thought was an authentic Coach bag, but when I finally received it, I compared it to the SLGs I purchased from the Coach store, and I could tell right away that they weren't the same. There was no information in the listing that specified that the bag was a replica. It wasn't even discounted enough for me to think that it wasn't authentic. Is there a division on eBay that helps with disputes? I hope the seller will just accept the return and issue my refund, but if they don't, I may need help.
TIA,
Crystal

Before accusing the seller of selling a fake, please verify that your assumption is correct.
ETA: I can't even count the number of times buyers have come here assuming an item is fake when it's determined that the item was 100% authentic.
you can post the item number or pictures on the handbag board.

OP1 year agoI appreciate the advice. I did reach out to the seller and ask if this bag was an authentic or a replica. They replied it was a replica with the listing did not say that anywhere.

·1 year agoWell that's an important piece of information you should have included in your OP. And if that's the case, you need to go back to the order and in the dropdown box, click to return the item because it's not as described.
It's clearly NAD (not as described) because since counterfeit items are illegal and disallowed, listing it implies authenticity.
The seller will have to either issue a refund and let you keep and dispose of the fake or will have to pay for and send a return shipping label so you can return it.
Upon receipt of the return, the seller will have to issue a full refund. If they don't do so, you can ask ebay to step in to issue the refund.

·1 year agoReplicas are not allowed to be sold on eBay. This is a violation of eBay policy.
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to open an “item not as described caseâ€. This overrides the sellers return policy. Go to your Purchase History and find the item. Then under “More actions†click on “Return item†and then select the reason for the return as “doesn't match description". It may ask you to attach a photo so the seller and eBay can see what was received. After this time has passed you would have to go to your payment source to see what help they can give.
