Authenticating after receiving item

I purchased a designer wallet and the listing didnâ€™t offer the authentic guarantee, but I just assumed it was because of the lower price point compared to a handbag. The seller says itâ€™s authentic, but I cannot find a date code in the wallet after receiving it. Is there a way to request authentication after purchasing?

Wallet matches photos, thereâ€™s just no date code, serial number, etc. I messaged the seller and they confirmed it is authentic but couldnâ€™t provide any more information.
