Making money on shipping to make up for low hammer…

Anybody ever have this experience? Seller advertises combined shipping and ad says ask for combined invoice by … to get any discounts. Then when asked for combined discount they remove fee on on oh the items and then double the other item’s shipping and send invoice. I bought 2 items for .99 cents each . Original shipping was 6.38 x 2. Combined invoice showed subtotal 1.99, first item now has 12.64 shipping and second 0. So what is the point? Don’t advertise combined shipping discounts if unwilling to fulfill . If you don’t wanna sell at .99 then list at a price you do want to sell. That is much better than literally lying , cheating and stealing

·1 month ago@hoedad The seller you describe did not cheat, nor did they steal. The fact is based on the numbers you provided, you received a small shipping discount. It may be an insult discount, but the seller did not raise the price nor did they charge you the same amount for shipping.
What do you mean by "they remove[d] [the] fee?
