Vintage Hermes Scarf
Summary: The discussion topic was about a 'Vintage Hermes Scarf', but no content was provided in the conversation.
I bought this scarf from an estate sale, but I'm not sure if it's authentic or not. Could someone help me authenticate it, please?
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

·10 months agoToo many things do not look right about this scarf.
In your closeup, the fabric looks like a woven fabric that looks more like rayon than silk but the tag says 100% silk.
The hem is not correct for Hermes. Hermes hems are always rolled to the front of the scarf and are hand-stitched.
The logo is not correct.

·11 months agoAm I seeing machine stitched hems? What I see doesn't look like Hermes quality to me.
I'm guessing your scarf is fake but you might want to google and ask an Hermes scarf expert, marietouchet.
Compare the detail in this picture (found in a search) to your scarf. Note that I flipped your picture because you're showing the back of the scarf.
