Selling a three-piece suit: as the full suit, or as suit separates?
I have a black, three-piece suit (like new, never worn except for trying on) I'd like to list on eBay.
All three pieces are by the same maker, Awearness by Kenneth Cole (I purchased it as a full suit, not as separates).
Can anyone advise me whether it would be better to:
1) list it as the complete suit
2) list the suit separates separately (that is, one listing for slacks, one for vest, one for jacket).
The separates will look better if worn as the full suit, rather than as a separate the wearer is trying to "match" to separates they might already have.
However, I'm not sure how important that would be to most prospective buyers. I'm wondering whether prospective buyers would be more interested in the the separates than the full suit.
(I also realize I'm probably up against steep odds. Looking through the current listings of suits, jackets, vests, etc., there are anywhere from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of suit components on offer).
Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give!

·4 months agoThe clothing category is so saturated so it might be a tough sell no matter how you were to list it.
But IMO, a 3 piece suit that's sold as a suit (not separates) would be best listed as such.
(This assumes that the 3 pieces are the same size.)
