I had a perfume that was removed for policy violation. Counterfeit. Same thing is selling everywhere on ebay, same bottle, same box, same lable. I am not sure why I received that notice. It was taken off.... yet is still on my active list and keeps renewing month after month. No one can see it but me I guess. I've been on here for maybe 6 months. I would be happy to just take the item off my page... but can't seem to. Also can't seem to talk to a "real live person". If I was just given a reason why it was thought to be counterfeit. At least a real person would allow me to ask questions..... AI doesn't . Nevertheless.... just thought I'd ask.

You need to end your current listing of the barrier rings and all those other ostomy supplies you sold weren't allowed.
The ostomy supplies require a prescription and as such, aren't allowed on ebay.
ETA: I know you didn't ask about these items but when you post here, we usually look at your other listings. In this case, I was looking to see if there were any completed listings of the perfume you say had been listed for months.

OP2 months agoI did end the barrier rings. The perfume was listed and someone bid and then changed their mind, this was back in Feb. I ended the listing and tried to relist it and was told it was counterfeit. Although I tried to respond and find out why it was labeled counterfeit... only AI responded and I could not get a reason. It has remained on my page as active.... yet I don't think anyone can see it but me. Also a quick question, These ostomy supplies are not needed anymore, yet still in original boxes. Why would we not be able to sell them at a reduced price for others to buy? Before I listed any I checked to see if they were selling on ebay, and they are. Please respond. Thank you.

OP2 months agoI just did a little research. Ostomy supplies are sold over the counter at places like Walmart. They do not require a prescription. They are indeed allowed on ebay to sell. I thought you may need to know this for future reference. Thank you again for your help.

·2 months ago@acbbj1234 No need to talk to a live person. Once eBay removes a listing, you do not want to put it back up on eBay. There is an appeals process, but oftentimes even if your appeal is granted and you relist, it will be taken down again.
It does not matter what others are selling. The whole idea of coutnerfeit is that many will look nearly identical to the real thing. Also, just in case, you cannot list opened or used perfume.
The listing will fall off your actives in about 30 days. If you want to remove it completely, you can end it by using the eBay app. Not sure why eBay does not give that option on the web version of the site. Normally it is the opposite.
