Is this Louis Vuitton Lock & Key Authentic?

I purchased a Vintage Louis Vuitton Lock & Key #212 & noticed one of the numbers on the key, the first #2 _ _ has another 2 that has been stamped again incorrectly slightly above/diagonal? Does this mean the key is not authentic or just an accidental mistake?
