Is this Gucci belt genuine and a few other questions.
I've got a few questions about this Gucci belt:
1. Is it genuine and if not what are the red flags?
2. I read the size as 48 inches/120 centimeters, am I right about this?
3. Is it a man's or a woman's belt?
4. Does it have a specific style name, model number or similar identifier?

OP3 years agoSorry for the delay getting back to this, I've been tied up with my day job.
Thanks to all of you for your input, as I said above it's been extremely helpful. Sadly, this belt is a fake but I've been able to learn a little bit about how to authenticate Gucci products so I'm happy.
One last question: I came across multiple online sources that state any Gucci product that has a serial number starting with 1212 is counterfeit (Gucci never used a serial number starting with those 4 numbers). Is this something you all concur with?

·3 years agoI believe that font and the stamping on the back of the belt looks wrong.

To clarify the belt I have has a black background with yellow stars and teal (turquoise) Gs, the buckle is gold tone. I don't know if it's the phone I use to take photos or the lighting but the photos I added above do not accurately reflect the belt. Below is what I hope is a better photo of the strap, I'm still trying to get one that shows the true color of the buckle.

·3 years agoSorry-yes the colors are more accurate but the belt is still counterfeit. Look at the finishing on the leather and edgestain on the backside.

·3 years agoSorry but it’s a counterfeit Gucci Ghost belt. Nothing is correct including the colors. The Navy is has red and white. The black has yellow and turquoise.
