Why would any one buy a mystery box of clothing is beyond me.

·1 year agoIf you're going to do a lot listing for clothes, the items should be the same size/fit the same person.
In other words, don't include petite items with XL.
I'm not sure if a multi variation listing would work for items of different sizes. @wastingtime101 ?

·1 year agoNo @albertabrightalberta , not in the way the OP wants to run things.
If she wants to pair a top and sweater same size (ex: both size large), a variation would only work if she had the same top and same sweater in a different size (ex: both size medium), and if they were in the exact same condition. It would also be a pain in the butt to put measurements in the listing. I suggest not using variations here (and you know I'm a big fan of variations in general).

·1 year agoYes it's against eBay listing - as Wastingtime101 shows.
They do have listings for clothing lots.
Everything should have photos and descriptions.
The negative part is : they asked to return the clothing lot and they may keep an item or two and return the rest. You will be out of the money.
A fellow seller was selling a lot of doll clothes.
Seller had the item returned and the buyer kept 5 items out of the lot.
She was a smart seller and composed a letter to the buyer and the buyer admitted to keeping the 5 items and she did not receive the refund.

OP1 year agoI'm thinking of lotting 2 of my Chico's tops: one is a sweater and one is an button up blouse (silk). Same size.

You cannot advertise a Mystery Box and say you'll get some women's clothing.
You can put together a lot/bundle of like items and in the description clearly state all items included for example: a lot of 5 women's graphic t-shirts, all size large.
Photos need to depict the actual items.

I have 4 Chico's tops and sweaters,
Size 8
Size 4
Size 3 (14/16) - two tops
Is there anyway to lot them? Suggestions?

·1 year agoFind like items (sizes) and list them in lots of 3-5 (or whatever). Lots will help keep your shipping cost down per item. Just make sure the lots make sense. (keeping sizes the same IMHO)
