Does anyone recognize this top or the artwork on it?
This is a permanently crinkled sleeveless top. It's not loosely crinkled like for instance a Magic Scarf or Plisse brand garment. It looks and feels more like an Issey Miyake Pleats Please or Permanente garment. There are no labels or tags inside to indicate even the size.
The artwork is reminiscent of that of Joan Miro but I'm not aware of any of his designs that look specifically like this, and all the Joan Miro garments I've seen are in washable cottons or cotton blends.
It's the same front and back, and though it has side and shoulder seams, you could wear it inside out without at first realizing your mistake.

I'm way out my element here but personally I think it's pretty cool. I know years ago when neckties were standard office wear some very creative patterns were produced by some designers - manufactures and I had a few just to break up the monotony of the Business 101 necktie scene.
Have you tried an image search on this piece?

·10 months agoDefinitely "inspired" Miro would never have drawn this design. Nor would Miyake have designed this garment.
It is a little childish.

·10 months agoDefinitely Miro Inspired although he's not known for sponsoring or creating apparel. At best, it’s a Miro-inspired pleated sleeveless blouse.
