Coach Authenticity #9363
Summary: ersold-50 purchased a Coach purse from Goodwill and questioned its authenticity after discovering mismatches with serial numbers and other indicators of authenticity. adamcartwright noted it appeared to be made of vinyl, and ersold-50 later confirmed the bag as counterfeit upon closer inspection, citing misspellings of words on the bag. vintagecoachcult suggested returning the item, and debora(34) provided advice on checking logos in the future to avoid fakes. labbypaws also pointed out discrepancies in the pattern, confirming it is not genuine, and another participant agreed with this assessment.
Recently got a Coach purse from Goodwill and am curious about its authenticity. It has definitely been around for a long time, as I found a hockey ticket in there from 2008. The serial number matches to a different bag when I research, however the bag shows all of the signs for it being real. Let me know what you think.

The bag is fake.

·1 month agoCoach bags have the same patchwork pattern on both sides of the bag. There may be a few exceptions (getting older and can’t remember) but this isn’t one of them. It is fake.

·1 month agoNext time, just compare the COACH logos. All three are different. Will save you $10.00.

OP1 month agoThanks. I did research while I was in the store but struggled with an internet connection. I wouldn't have bought it if it was more $

·1 month agoLooks like it's made of vinyl, not leather.

OP1 month agoTrue. Did more digging online and I am sure it is fake. I also just noticed enduring is spelled "enouring" and quality "ouality". I was willing to take the gamble, for $10 why not.
