About Gustav Klimt scarf
Can someone tell where this vintage scarf is made? It is 100% silk for sure , but other tags . Of course we know what is Gustav Klimt … looks like there is signature . Is it allowed to use his signature for example Chinese items ?

·9 months agoIt's a detail from Klimt' famous work 'The Kiss'. And not at all unusual for art-inspired scarves to carry the artist's signature. It may have well have been marketed by a museum shop. A Google Images search will bring up many examples of similar scarves.

·9 months agoWithout a tag, there is no way of determining where it was manufactured. And, yes. Anyone, anywhere can reproduce the artist's signature.

OP9 months agoI was thinking the same. It’s very beautiful, really like a painting, but it’s odd that the artist’s signature is included this way even on a reproduction.
