SELLERS AVOID FED EX IF YOU CAN
Hello I've been selling on Ebay for years now and have never had a problem with USPS, UPS, or Fed Ex. Here recently I have been getting up charges from Fed Ex after I purchase the label and the item is delivered. Today I received a upcharge of $36.64 after i purchased the label for an Initial $14.84. Bringing the total to over $51 for a shipping label. I'm not sure how Fed Ex can get away with charging us after we already purchase the label and how can Ebay allow it when sellers need to know their profit margins on their items sold. This is the second time this has happened to me ( being up charged over $30 ). Fed Ex has up charged me several times, at least 20 for a couple dollars here and there. I said i wouldn't use them again because of this in the past but sometimes the cost is so much cheaper and I haven't been up charged every time. I called Ebay customer service and they tell me they all do it. I have never seen an up charge from UPS or USPS. Only FED EX. Just want to warn other sellers. Its usually a weight around 10 to 11 pounds you need to be careful about sending with FED Ex.

·11 months agoI'm a buyer and I agree with not using Fedex at least where I reside.
Not because of upcharges but because I receive filthy packages from Fedex. Sometimes I won't even bring them into the house they are so nasty.
I try to avoid buying from sellers that use that service but sometimes it's a hard to find item. I take a bottle of isopropyl alcohol with me outside for whatever implement I will use to open the package and for my hands after trashing the package.
I've also had one delivery guy just shove a large box off the back of the truck onto the gravel driveway and drag it through the gravel to not block the drive.
If it says delivered by Fedex I won't buy unless there's no other option. I'll gladly pay more for shipping to have it delivered another way..................

·11 months agoWith FedEx and UPS, the price that Ebay gives is only an estimate.
Both like adding extra charges after it's been delivered.
