possible fraud
would appreciate your input . I’ve been trying to contact eBay refund guarantee although they say they provide it. I have no way of doing the item has already been reported on eBay as a policy violation. I have just found out that the item I ordered is not authentic the seller will not respond appropriately. In my opinion I want to apply for a refund, but the item was closed out and I cannot take any further action. Is there a way to get to the eBay refund site to report the issue. thank you

·4 months agoI'm not sure...
but it sounds like it failed the authentication process?
Which is strange because I assumed you got an instant refund when that happened.
As a consumer...
I'm not working that hard to get my refund it sounds is due to you.
I would go back to my payment source, immediately.
P.S. In my opinion...
you don't owe the seller of a fraudulent item any sort of courtesy.

·4 months agoDoes this link work for you? You only have 30 days from the delivery date to file.
If that fails, then file a chargeback with your funding source.

Did you try this?
Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

That suggestion only works if you received the item and want to return it.
If you've paid but it hasn't been shipped yet, do you want to cancel? If so, you can go to the order, click to "contact seller" and request to cancel.
The seller doesn't have to accept and if they ignore or decline your request, you can go back to the order on the day after the estimated delivery date and click either to return (if you received it) or "I didn't receive it."

OP4 months agothank you so much for getting back. However, the item has been removed and there are no options. I get a policy violation for the item is posted in big red notification across my order however eBay never notified me of this issue. The seller offered $20 back which I did not accept but when I click on the item I get no option to report a concern in eBay just keeps running you around and help without a valid place to file for a refund under eBay refund guarantee I responded to the seller by mentioning that according to APPLE, these are counterfeit and they will not honor the warranty on them

·4 months agoWhen you say the item is "closed out", do you mean you are unable to file an Item Not As Described case? If so, I'd file a chargeback with your credit card.
