listing was removed: Police-related items policy
My item listing title - "VINTAGE FEDERAL SIGNAL CORP SIREN ELECTRONICS CONTROL PART? CPA58H 12 VOLT WIRE?"
There are literally hundreds of Federal Signal sirens being sold & already sold on ebay, I have had this removed twice. Can anyone explain why mine is different? My first try I used the term police siren, I removed the term police, it is not an international listing.
This is the ebay policy;
"The following items can’t be listed for sale on eBay:
- Law enforcement and other government-issued uniforms, badges, or accessories such as hats, jackets, shirts, or replicas of these items
- Official emergency lighting systems or sirens, including lenses or LEDs for these systems"
Yet there are thousands of these items currently on ebay, this is absolutely absurd. This can not be explained with any logic what so ever.

·3 months agoOh really?
If there are 1,000 cars speeding on a highway and one police officer patrolling that highway, most of them will get away with speeding. That's not lack of logic. It's common sense.
If one individual is charged with 30+ felonies but does not end up with any punishment, sadly that does not mean it is fair game for you and I to go out and commit felonies willy-nilly.

·3 months agoWell, officers can’t pull over 1,000 speeding cars at once. eBay can delist 1,000 items in short order.

·3 years agoThey do this all the time here too! Like i have a flag waving to spot the items. We upfit emergency vehicles and have a lot of new and used items we try to move on here. If anyone knows where to sell these things, I'm open for looking elsewhere.

·3 months agoWe do the same here. Upfit emergency vehicles and have tons of extra goodies to list. We so sell on several platforms. eBay will pull a lot of our listings if we have it worded wrong. It will go to the other sites. Check out some of our listings here and let us know if you need help.
