I purchased an item and I wanted to cancel it. I was told my cancellation was denied ' The item came even after I told the seller I didn't want it., I don't see it in my purchase history, yet the amount was deducted from my checking account. The seller deepseek-r9 has not responded to any of my messages. all three that I sent. What can I do now?

·8 months agoWell you ordered from a seller in China. As others have stated you can return it if it's not as described but it will be a hassle as they can't just give you a return label.
For a return label the seller would have to provide you the funds through PayPal or whatever source.
One of the many reasons I've mostly limited my online purchases to domestic sellers except for a select few websites owned by the actual manufacturers of the items themselves.

‘Sorry you are dealing with this seller. I would highly recommend you check out feedback prior to shopping. This looks like more trouble than it’s worth.

The seller is from China and doesn't accept returns.
A buyer can request to have an order canceled, but it's up to the seller if they want to cancel the order or not.
If the seller will allow you to return it, you'll have to pay return shipping and that'll cost a lot more then the item cost.

Since when did sellers from China get special treatment? 🙄

·8 months agoWhat do you mean?
Unless the item is damaged or not as described, it would be a remorse return.

·8 months agoWhat "special treatment"?
The rules about returns as explained here to you by several responders apply to sellers from US, China, Denmark and just about any place a seller is located.

OP8 months agoI tried to cancel, 15 minutes after changing my mind, so I am quite sure I hadn't shipped yet

·8 months agoDoesn't matter how soon you ask, the seller doesn't have to cancel the order.

·8 months ago@lobobro_fhc9weue To clarify what @stainlessenginecovers advised, you can only open a return if a) the seller accepts returns or b) you received something you did not order and/or in a condition you did not order. If the seller does not accept returns and you received exactly what you ordered, then you will have to keep the item and maybe resell it on eBay or give it to someone as a gift.

If it is in the slightest way not as described…i.e. no measurements on clothing and doesn’t fit the seller has to take it back. There are many ways around the “no return acceptedâ€

Surely you are not hinting at the OP to lie - because that is what it sounds like. Absolutely shameful and says a lot about you as a buyer.

OP8 months agoFact sent me a defective item, and took my money, what would you call that

·8 months agoYou can open a return for refund after you receive the item; although if not in your account and you purchased as a guest, someone else will be by to answer that.
In the future, know that buyers cannot cancel once an item has been shipped, so sellers can 'deny' for that reason.
