ebay not honoring 30 day money back guarentee
Purchased airpod pro 2 2nd gen from techjacketseller. Item was defective/fake per apple technician. Seller would not refund. Would not accept returns . I mistakenly tried a refund but remembered that the seller did not accept returns so I canceled. I later found out in a chat foram that you could ask for a refund even if the seller has a no refund policy. Supposedly this would allow ebay to step in and help. This however did not happen. I contacted ebay and talked twice to agents. No resolution. I was told someone would get back to me. The first call did not result in feedback. The second call resulted in ebay emailing me informing me that because I canceled the refund request I was out of luck and they would not help. No where does any policy statement on ebay website state that a canceled refund request terminates your rights under the 30 day money back guarantee. You are forewarned.

Do yourself a big favor and read about the Ebay Money Back Guarantee. Near the bottom of listings on the right hand side it says "Shop with confidence". Click where it says "Learn more".
You will learn what to do in your and many more situations usually without any need to contact Ebay agents or even the seller. I usually contact the seller Once to see if they will cooperate then just let the automated system take over if they won't.
Too bad this happened to you. You can also take it up with your payment source and go that way but the automated system has always worked for me without ever having to.
Good luck with further purchases.
