Button batteries for small electronics (cameras, etc.)
Recently I have purchased MS-76 and PX625A camera batteries from 3 different sellers. They were purchased on a card in lots of 10 or 20. In all cases, the batteries were nowhere near 1.5v, and most were around 1v
I believe the overseas distributors are sending out old, weak batteries to eBay sellers. Up until the last several months, I have had good luck buying bulk batteries from eBay sellers. However i don't plan to buy any more unless I see expiration dates printed on the packaging.
Buyers would do well to check the voltage of button batteries WHEN THE ARRIVE and not merely assume they are putting out the stated voltage ("fresh") and leave them in a drawer for weeks or months. Sellers should check button batteries as soon as they receive them from suppliers, or risk negative feedback.
