Best shipping method for turntables

Hey all,

I am about to sell a Rega P3 turntable, but have never shipped one before, so want to make sure that I pick the best and most careful shipping carrier so that the turntable doesn't get damaged. Wondering if there is a clear winner here that I should choose?

Don't list the item until you are comfortable with your packaging.

I don't think there's that much to choose between the major shipping carriers. The shipper is always responsible for packaging the item so it won't be damaged during shipping.

Most turntables have a screw that immobilizes the turntable so that it can be shipped safely. You need to find the screw, and figure out how to use it to fix the turntable in place. Here's an example from another type of turntable. You should look through your manual and find out how to do this for your turntable.
