So I listed a old ATV on Ebay motors and it sold with best offer. Now the buyer is getting frustrated because of Caramel checkout? On my end it says buyer selected secure checkout and I was directed to that 3rd party stuff. Neither of us want to use that, nor can on this transaction. So how do I tell him how he can cancel using caramel, so we can finish the transaction as a normal eBay sale? On my end I have the options to "complete sale" which takes me to caramel, mark picked up, or refund. I understand using a dealer service for cars, but not in this instance. 2 weeks agolast reply 1 week agoharl4431Authenticity eBay has had a card I sold in their possession for authentication for 9 days now. The buyer is waiting for the card, I’m waiting for the funds to be off hold. In the past it’s never taken over 2 days. Is this the new normal? Why is this process taking so long? 3 weeks agolast reply 2 weeks agopeteprest-0Advice needed: Where do you source qualified help for listing & inventory? Hi everyone, I’m looking to bring someone on to help with eCommerce tasks for my eBay store (listing, optimization, order flow, etc.). I know job postings aren’t allowed here, so I’m not advertising a position — just hoping to get some guidance. For those of you who have hired eCommerce or eBay‑focused help before, where did you find qualified candidates? Are there specific job boards, communities, or platforms that worked well for you? Any suggestions or experiences would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance! 3 weeks agolast reply 2 weeks agotenoemEbay entering fitment data for motors despite being opted out? Ebay is now automatically entering fitment data for motors listings despite me opting out of it, which is a huge problem, since the data they are entering will lead to more returns that I am forced to pay for. You can see in the below screenshot I have clearly opted out of this: Now here's a listing I just noticed a buyer asking me a question about that ebay automatically added fitment data to: https://www.ebay.com/itm/157922811037 See on the right side of the listing where it says "notes" , the notes are blank: This is a huge problem. If I listed a diesel glo plug for a 2025 suburban 3.0L duramax, ebay would now automatically falsely say that this glow plug would fit a 2025 suburban 5.3L gas and 6.2L gas because the notes section that is supposed to say "For diesel 3.0L engine only" is blank. This will significantly increase returns that I am forced to pay for, as all motors parts and accessories sellers are required by policy to pay for return shipping. Here's an example of a listing that i myself manually entered the fitment data for: https://www.ebay.com/itm/156739996791 Notice the notes section is where the important details are entered, saying specifics as to what the actual item fits: I do not want ebay importing partial fitment information into my listings, and I have opted out of it, why are they doing this? I lost $ 17,739.73 dollars to returns in 2025 not counting the cost of return shipping, not looking to make that $60,000 in 2026. Jun 18, 2026 at 5:08 AMMotorcycle Blvd0 members · 1 discussions
