WHY CANT I DEVELOP ON THIS PLATFORM!!!!
Hello eBay Community / Developer Relations team,
My eBay Developers Program registration was rejected with "Your account registration was rejected due to problems with the data provided or other irregularities." I submitted the official "My account registration was rejected" support form twice this morning, and each time received an immediate automated decline within seconds, so it does not appear any human has reviewed my case.
As several other posters on this board are reporting the identical issue this week, this looks like an automated risk filter misfiring on legitimate individual users.
About me: I'm an active eBay buyer/seller in good standing, registering as an individual. My use case is personal and low-volume. I want to use the Browse API to read listings I'm already browsing and estimate the value of item lots, to inform my own buying decisions. No scraping, no data redistribution, no commercial resale of eBay data; fully compliant with the API License Agreement.
Could a moderator or Developer Relations staff member please arrange a manual review of my registration, or tell me the specific data point I need to correct? I'll gladly provide my registered developer username and email privately. I won't post personal details publicly.
