Trading API returning 410 Gone for all calls — 20 days, no resolution
Hi eBay Developer Community,
I've been experiencing a critical Trading API outage since late July 2026 — now 20 days with no resolution despite an open support ticket.
The issue:
All Trading API calls return 410 Gone when the X-EBAY-API-CALL-NAME header is included. POST without the header returns 200 OK but "unsupported API call." REST APIs work fine.
Response headers returned:
x-CDN: Akamai
Server: ebay-proxy-server
Response body is completely empty
What I've tried:
Token refresh ✅
Confirmed correct headers and credentials ✅
Provided IP address to support ✅
Multiple follow-ups over 20 days ✅
Support keeps responding "checking with engineering team" with no actual update or timeline.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Has anyone found a workaround?
Any help from eBay staff or other developers would be greatly appreciated.
