Rejected registration — manual review request
Summary: skrodlada26 registered for the Developers Program but faced rejection due to unspecified issues. They sought advice for correcting the registration data, noting their long-standing positive status as an eBay member. crookedhillcreations717 also experienced similar issues with no response from eBay. skrodlada26 resolved the problem by using a non-public domain email address for registration, which resulted in approval.
I registered for the Developers Program and my account was rejected for "problems with the data provided or other irregularities," with no detail on what to correct. I'm a long-standing eBay member and seller in good standing. I'm requesting API access as an individual for a personal-use price research tool using the Browse API (read-only, low volume — no listing automation, no third parties). I'm happy to correct or verify any registration data — please tell me what flagged, or manually review my account.

·1 month agoWe've been facing this for several weeks. No responses from any Ebay contact method that we've tried. Super frustrating.

OP1 month agoI actually figured it out. You have to sign up with an email address that is not a public domain. So you would have to have an email from your own domain name. I did that and got approved the next day.
