Wargame Trader (www.wargametrader.com) is building a multi-channel commerce platform for tabletop game sellers. The application synchronizes inventory, listings, orders, and fulfillment data between eBay and the seller’s Wargame Trader store, with support planned for additional sources like Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.
A seller authorizes the application to access their eBay account. The application then consumes eBay data and notifications, converts them into source-agnostic business events, and synchronizes the seller’s inventory and orders across connected sales channels.
We are requesting an additional keyset because the existing keyset cannot currently authorize the eBay listing and notification capabilities required for this workflow. In particular, authorization attempts requiring the listing scopes return invalid_scope, and the existing keyset does not provide the necessary permissions for the listing notification flow. We require near-real-time behavior for reliable multi-channel inventory synchronization and prevent overselling, reduce manual reconciliation, and keep product availability consistent across marketplaces. The requested keyset would allow us to use the appropriate least-privilege seller authorization and event-notification capabilities.
