Marketplace Account Deletion endpoint will not save - Developer Support ticket submission also fails
I am configuring Marketplace Account Deletion notifications for a Production application. The Developer Portal will not save the notification endpoint and verification token. After clicking Save, both fields are cleared.
The HTTPS endpoint is publicly accessible and returns HTTP 200 with Content-Type application/json. I independently verified that the response contains no UTF-8 BOM and that the challengeResponse exactly matches the expected SHA-256 value calculated using the same endpoint URL and verification token. The endpoint supports both GET and POST. The notification email address currently configured is valid and working, and my Developer Technical Support contact is ACTIVE. An incorrect notification email address was initially entered and generated a delivery failure; it has since been corrected to the valid address. I attempted to escalate this through Developer Technical Support. The AI-Assisted Support system recommended escalation to Developer Technical Support after the endpoint checks above were confirmed. I completed the ticket form, but submitting the ticket itself fails with: “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” As a result, I currently cannot save the required Marketplace Account Deletion configuration and cannot create a Developer Technical Support ticket about the problem. Could an eBay Developer Support representative please check whether there is an account/application-side state preventing the Marketplace Account Deletion endpoint configuration from being saved, particularly whether the initial failed notification email may have left the application in an invalid state? I would also appreciate assistance getting a technical support ticket created if that system is currently failing. I can provide the endpoint URL, application details, screenshots, and verification results privately to eBay staff if needed.
