Help and Contact Page Useless
Summary: zimm3210 expressed frustration with eBay's customer service after not receiving products from two different sellers. They reported difficulty in contacting eBay and finding records of the transactions, as the purchases weren't visible in their account history. eburtonlab suggested checking if the purchase was made through a different account and provided steps to contact eBay via social media or file a "not as described" return. They also advised zimm3210 to obtain documentation proving the non-delivery and to consider pursuing the issue through their payment provider if necessary.
I made two purchases from two different sellers. They said their product was delivered but NO it wasn't or I never received it. I contacted both sellers who were no help at all, so I've been trying to contact eBay. This process is totally impossible! I cannot send an email to report the seller because eBay doesn't have an option for no seller name and won't send it without one. I don't have a name because the purchases are no longer in my purchase history NOR are the sellers showing up in eBay. How do I get a record of the emails between us. How do these things just disappear? I've tried for days to contact eBay but their contact and help page is a joke. Nothing leads to nothing. I've been on an endless circle trying to get this resolved. AI doesn't help it only says the same thing repeatedly. EBAY YOU NEED TO DO BETTER! How can I report these sellers without a name or no longer in my history? I sent a call request to no avail, twice! I've sent an email they offered on their page, finally, to no avail. How do I get a hold of a human at eBay and how can I get my money back? I am so frustrated I could scream! This is unacceptable customer service! We spend our money here we should be able to talk to someone if we come across a problem that your "help" page does not cover! Again, eBay do better and send me my two refunds.

·1 month agoIf you purchased using this account, the transaction should still be in your purchase history even if the listing or the seller was removed.
Recent purchases should also appear here:

Is it possible you purchased using a different eBay account? Or as a guest?
If you have contacted the shipping service directly to determine that the tracking number does not correspond to a delivery to your address you are likely looking at a case of "false tracking".
If you can, I would suggest obtaining documentation that shows that the package was not addressed to you, then contacting eBay via social media direct message using Instagram and mentioning that you have a case of "false tracking" to be given an opportunity to share your documentation:
https://www.instagram.com/ebay/
If you cannot get documentation, or if that does not work:
Since false tracking allows a scam seller to win an "item not received" case, the next step would be to file a "not as described" return on eBay and be prepared to return exactly what you received if the seller provides for return shipping, or ask eBay to step in after three business days if the seller does not refund you or provide return shipping.
You may have recourse through your payment method if you are unable to get satisfaction through eBay, though once you involve a payment method, eBay can no longer help with that transaction. Be sure you mention "false tracking" specifically, otherwise your provider may assume a simple missing or stolen package and defer to eBay's ruling based on the tracking showing delivery.
In the future, stick to experienced sellers with a long and demonstrated history and avoid new or unproven sellers, or sellers that show warning signs of being drop-shippers or potential scammers: drastic changes in selling behavior or offering deals that are "too good to be true", or shipping heavy items that are unlikely to be profitably shipped via retail shipping.
