eBay Developer Account Registration Rejected
Hi eBay Community / Developer Relations team,
My eBay Developer Program registration was rejected with the message: "Your account registration was rejected due to problems with the data provided or other irregularities. If you believe this rejection is in error, please see our FAQs and Contact Channels page or work with your eBay representative directly."
I have not received any further explanation to this point on what the issues with the application was. For context: this is for a small, individually-developed personal-use app. It would use the standard Browse API for single-item listing lookups only — pulling public price, photos, condition, and seller feedback for one specific listing a user is personally viewing, to help them make their own purchase decision. No bulk data, no scraping, no reselling of data, and no use of eBay content to train or improve any AI model.
I've already submitted the official "My account registration was rejected" form once with this context, but haven't heard back. Given how many others in this forum seem to be hitting the same rejection message recently, I wanted to also ask here in case a moderator or Developer Support staff member can help escalate this for manual review.
