Developer registration rejected — private seller integration, looking for guidance
I'm an established eBay seller (800+ live listings, one-of-a-kind antiques) and my developer account registration was rejected with the "problems with the data provided or other irregularities" message, with no specific reason given.
My use case is straightforward: a private, internal integration to sync inventory between my own eBay account and my own Shopify store, so I don't oversell the same one-of-a-kind item on both. It's for my own business only, not a third-party app, using the Sell APIs (Inventory + Fulfillment). Only my own account's data is involved.
I've since resubmitted, but I'd still love to understand what tends to trigger this rejection so I can fix whatever's needed if it comes back. Has anyone run into this, or does anyone from eBay know what specifically causes it? Any guidance appreciated — thank you.
