Developer registration rejected despite using my 9-year eBay account email
Summary: henrledesm3 encountered an issue where their eBay Developers Program registration was rejected, citing data irregularities, despite using the correct details linked to their established eBay account. They are unable to contact support due to the requirement of a developer sign-in, which was the application aspect rejected. They intend to use the Browse API for a new auto parts business and have requested assistance from Developer Support to resolve the misunderstanding.
Hello, my eBay Developers Program registration was rejected with "problems with the data provided or other irregularities." I can't open a support ticket because the contact form requires a developer sign-in — which is exactly what was rejected — so I'm posting here.
The email I registered with is the same email on my eBay account: henrledesm3, member since November 2016, 100% positive feedback (88). All the registration data was accurate, so this appears to be a false positive. (I'll share the registration email by private message when someone from support picks this up.)
Context: I'm starting a used auto parts business in Pennsylvania and want to use the Browse API (well within standard rate limits) for pricing research on parts I pull from local salvage yards, and later the Sell APIs for my own listings.
Could someone from Developer Support review my registration or tell me what triggered the rejection? I'm happy to verify anything needed. Thank you!
