Developer registration rejected ("data provided or other irregularities") — requesting manual review
Hello eBay Developer Support team,
My eBay Developers Program registration (developer username madeinekenzo) was rejected with the generic message "Your account registration was rejected due to problems with the data provided or other irregularities." I received no email and no indication of what data was flagged or how to correct it. Because the account is rejected I cannot log in, so the normal support channels are closed to me. I submitted the "My account registration was rejected" form on the Developer Account Support page on 10 September 2026.
I am a seller on eBay.de, shop zenkaitcgshop, in good standing with no restrictions. I currently manage my listings with File Exchange CSV uploads and want to replace that with a proper listing tool — identify a card, price it, publish the listing. I will run it on my own account first, and may later offer it to other sellers, each connecting their own eBay account through the standard OAuth consent flow to manage their own listings.
APIs I need: Sell Inventory (createOrReplaceInventoryItem, createOffer, publishOffer), Sell Fulfillment for order retrieval, and Browse for read-only price research. I will not resell or redistribute eBay data, and I will implement the Marketplace Account Deletion notification endpoint and comply with the API License Agreement.
My developer registration used the same name and email as my eBay account, so I suspect an automated filter triggered in error.
Could a Developer Support representative please manually review the registration, or tell me which field caused the rejection so I can correct it? Happy to provide any verification you need. @developer_support@ebay @developer-support@ebay.com
Thank you
