Developer Program registration with personal email for an independent project
Hello,
I am an independent developer based in Spain and I am developing a private tool for analyzing second-hand resale opportunities on eBay.
The project is initially for my own use. It would search eBay listings, identify products, estimate their market value and calculate whether a potential purchase would be profitable after shipping and Canary Islands import costs.
I am currently trying to join the eBay Developers Program, but the registration form requires a business email address. I currently only have a personal email address and I am not operating through a registered company.
Could you please clarify:
Is it possible for an independent developer to register for the eBay Developers Program using a personal email address?
If not, what is the appropriate registration path for an individual developer who is developing a private tool for personal use?
Would this type of personal resale-analysis application be an allowed use of the Browse API?
If Browse API access is appropriate for this use case, are there any additional requirements for production access?
I want to make sure the project complies with eBay's API policies before developing the integration.
