Developer account repeatedly auto-rejected — requesting manual review
Hello,
My eBay Developers Program registration for developer username rascalsenpai has been rejected through the automated eligibility/risk process.
I found my situation and use case pretty much 100% aligned with what a user posted, so using it for my post as well.
I have already used the official “My account registration was rejected” support form. The response I received was the same generic rejection language stating that eBay cannot disclose the internal eligibility/risk criteria.
My intended use is a private application supporting my own collectible-card buying/reselling activity. It would use only official eBay APIs where permitted, initially in Sandbox, for listing discovery, evaluation, and eventually approved Buy/Offer API functionality.
The application will not scrape eBay, resell eBay data, bypass checkout or fees, or operate as a third-party marketplace/service.
I am not asking eBay to disclose its internal risk criteria. I am asking whether an eBay Developer Support representative can manually review the existing registration or escalate it to the appropriate team.
I would prefer to resolve the existing registration rather than create duplicate developer accounts.
Thank you.
