Research interview scam contact
Summary: handyhandz4u shared their experience of being contacted for a research interview with a promised payment of $250, suspecting it to be a scam as eBay denied any knowledge of it. albertabrightalberta suggested that the person might be a legitimate researcher, though handyhandz4u remained skeptical due to conflicting information about the payment method and potential email spoofing.
Was contacted by Savannah P. for a research interview and payment of 250$. Ebay doesn't know anything about this interview, it's a scam. I recently received an email from someone claiming to represent a research firm, offering me $250 for an interview. However, when I checked with eBay, they didn’t have any knowledge of this offer, which makes me suspect it’s a scam. The assistant advised caution, highlighting that such unsolicited offers can be part of a larger scam trend. Has anyone else encountered similar situations or heard of this supposed research interview? I'd love to hear your experiences or tips on how to handle it.

Ebay has nothing to do with the research she's doing but I don't bleieve it's a scam.

OP1 week agoFirst she tells me that I get a flex-card with 250$ in the mail. Than she tells me eBay pays for it to my account. Yes she exists but she might be fake and spoofing my email.
