路2 weeks agoWHY would anyone want to 'reach Customer Service'??
When it's done, you are talking to a 3rd party rep that does nothing but put your 'words in their computer screen' and wait for an AI response...which is usually old and wrong.
No need to EVER contact them.

路2 weeks agoMy strategy is to strategically follow and understand eBay's policies and how the platform works. If I think something is wrong, 99.9% of the time it's something I've done or am not understanding, which means I need to go back and review something or post it here to get insight.
Very rarely should anybody need to speak with someone at eBay. It boggles my mind why so many people, both sellers and buyers, feel the need to bother those folks. This stuff is automated. Reps cannot fix site glitches, they can't make your sales go up, they can't stop sellers from lying, they cannot stop buyers from lying, they cannot hold your hand if you don't know what you are doing.
Some of you are wanting to talk to eBay reps every week, if not more often. I often wonder how these people get up every day and put their pants on without calling tech support. 馃
On the very rare occasion I do need to speak with someone, I go to the chat box, type in 'agent,' and it responds with whatever options are currently available. If none are available, I try again at a later time....maybe later that evening or the next day. If there are options, I will have eBay call me if possible. I try not to keep the reps for long, because they have better things to do and so do I. Well, there was that one cute sounding gal but that's a whole other story. 馃槅

路2 weeks agoThere are several ways for reaching Customer Support but "swiftly" has been removed several years ago.
I have noticed when I am using the Bulk Listing Tool that after using it for a while a Pop Up will appear and ask if I need help and would like to speak with an Agent. I clicked on it before and it Connected me to a Agent. Once connected I asked some random question, nothing to do with the listing, and they answered my question.
Nothing swift about when the Pop Up may appear but it usually pops up every time. Maybe because I am spending a lot of time with the Bulk Listing Tool so they think I may need some help?
