What percentage do you use on Promoted Items?
I have been here almost 30 years and have dreaded the day they introduced promoted listings. I knew it would get crazy with so many new sellers. I usually use a set rate to sell my items. My items are collectible toys with a small dab into trading cards. I am more concerned with the toys than the trading cards. My question if I may ask is what is the percentage you use? Any percentage strategies? Just curious. I tried the promoted stores and offsite with the credits they supplied and I just ended them cause I was losing on my monthly net. ·5 months agoI usually use a set percent across the board but not sure that is the best strategy? I am struggling on whether or not I should switch some of my items to a priority listing strategy but the cost per click and the possibility of getting no sales is scary and can land up costing a lot effecting your cost of selling. I was experiencing growth since fall but sales have been down past 30 days and maybe I need to try a different strategy? I wish I was more educated on this topic so I can evaluate and make the best decision. I feel like I could be missing out on the growth I need by not taking the best actions in ads.
