Pls halo question

Question

Been gone a for a few months and wanted to know if the halo attribution is still in effect. I know things changed back in Jan but just want to get it straight. For example, if I have an item promoted with pls at 8% and a buyer clicks on that item but then sees another item of mine that is promoted at 2% and purchases it. Am I charged 8% or 2%? Also do auctions have halo affect as well or no? I read through the promoted updates but just wanted to be sure. Thank you in advance.

Both Halo and Direct are now gone, and have been since January. The rate that matters is the rate of the sold item at time of sale.

If first item was promoted at 8% (that is what you pay) and if second item was promoted at 2% (that is what you pay). You never pay more than promoted amount that you agreed upon.
