eBay's Offsite Ads
Offsite Ads were a surprise for me. I've Advertised in general, using various methods over the years.
I'm on the eBay Promo for the New Offsite Ads for my eBay Store.
I pay 25%, eBay pays 75%, for Ad Fees for as long as $200 or 9/30 the end date.
The Learning Period was and is essentially Google Learning of my eBay listings. I have about 63 listings that Offsite has placed after about 12 days. 3 Sales and the Sales are nearly Neck and Neck today, with the Fees.
One thing that I felt should be addressed is this...
13 Clicks - 0.91 Cents a Click. Essentially $13.00 in Ad Fees for a Product I would not Advertise on Google. Knowing that Google would be unlikely to sell the Item, because of my Limited Budget. I had to literally take the Listing Off from my eBay Store, from 1 to 0, Out Of Stock, to stop the Hemorrhage. By then the CPC was $1.06.
Shouldn't eBay allow the Seller to Place a Pause for each Listing on Offsite?
After all we don't get to decide which products we want Advertised. We should have this decision so that we can keep the Product Listing, in Stock, on eBay itself whilst Offsite can be much more cost efficient.

Overall, however, The CPC's, on Offsite, are nicely affordable. And it is exciting to examine the possibility of success through these new Offsite Ads.

OP9 months agoI'm now off of Offsite Ads again. This time it was my Black Panther 2018 1 oz. Silver Coin Money Clip.

The day before on Offsite Ads, OA made only about $1.45 for the whole 24 Hour Day!
But suddenly, the next day this Black Panther Listing shot up very early in the Morning @ about $2.35 a click. I had a $5 charge suddenly. Google of course, it's own Algorithm, shot the Panther in there to quickly recoup it's lost Income the day before. This is Classic Google.
Nothing is more important to Google than Google!

I quickly instigated my take down a Listing that is too expensive on Offsite Ads.
Whalla!
No sale on eBay or Offsite Ads. But no $2.45 a click on Offsite, either!
Still, later I decided to Pause Offsite Ads altogether. For 6 days so far... and will Resume Offsite Ads and of course, sadly I must negate (0 Inventory) those Listings on eBay that are too expensive on Offsite Ads.
I assuredly would want to pause listings on Offsite Ads, like they allow you at Google Advertising. Then at least we Sellers on eBay can still sell the product.
No such luck!
