Could you close/move some page banners on eBay?
We're all familiar with the banners at the top of eBay community pages, offering announcements and notifications.
But why are there so many rows of these banners at the top of "main community pages?
Would it be possible to make them collapsible, or maybe move a couple to the middle or bottom of the page?
Making them collapsible or moving them to the bottom could really help improve and balance the page.

OP1 month agoHere鈥檚 a link to one of my opening pages in Edge as a good example. I have to scroll about halfway down the first page to reach the first message.
https://community.ebay.com/
Is all that really necessary? And necessary enough that I have to use an ad blocker?
What benefit does this bring to anyone? It鈥檚 just more annoyances.
Why does advertising always seem designed to irritate?

路1 month ago 路 EditedYou can use ad-blocking browser plugins like uBlock Origin with Firefox. There is an option to block elements.
I use this in the Seller Hub so I don't have to see the endless nudges from ebay to promote listings offsite ever again.

路1 month agoI 2nd this motion/request.
There are 'announcements' there that we can see if we click 'announcements' instead of 'community....
So we don't need them on the community too.

路1 month agoJust use an ad blocker to block them out and you won't have to scroll past them ever again. Right click, select Block Element, click the item, then block it.
