What a Cutie? Horsman? Peterkin? 1929?
Hello Fellow Doll Lovers, I need some confirmation on this doll. Stands about 13." Read where this face was eventually used for the CAMPBELLS SOUP dolls. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated!

It's very difficult to read the complete marking on the doll, but the E.I.H. at the beginning was used by Horsman in the 1920s. It's very doubtful this doll served as the model for the Campbell soup kids, as they first appeared in 1906, more than a decade before this doll was made. The reverse is actually more likely, where the doll was inspired by the Campbell kids, which were immensely popular in the 1920s.
