Please Help Me ID This Doll. Fairly Certain She Dates Back to 1930s

She is 16" tall. Really long legs: her legs are 8" long.
Her costume is mostly machine-stitched but her little pantaloons are all hand-stitched.
Her face is painted-on.
Her shoes are leather and stitched to her legs.
Her dress is cotton.
There are no markings on her.

Without having actually seen the doll in person all I can tell you is my gut feeling from collecting dolls for more than 60 years. She's a sweet doll and certainly can be enjoyed as such. But if you're planning to sell her, you'll have a tough road even with the provenance.

The responses you got on your other post are spot on. Looking at the close-up of the fabric and the overall condition of the doll, she's a modern reproduction of an old doll. There's no way a 1930s doll would have no wear to the paint and absolutely pristine fabric. Dolls were children's toys, and there is zero playwear on this doll.

I would be thoroughly amazed if this doll was a repro. She came from a dear friend who (almost) fanatically hoarded quite a few of her toys from her childhood. Nearly all of the toys dated to 1930s, including old board games, stuffed animals and so on. Many things in very lightly used condition.
This particular doll does have wear on her face --- note the smudged nose and pencil (?) mark on her face. Her legs are more soiled than they appear in the photo showing her shoes. Please look at the body/back in photo I have added here. I am far from expert, as I'm sure you understand, but this doll looks and feels OLD to me.
I forgot to mention that she does have "thumbs." No idea of maker? Homemade?
Where can I access the other replies? I find this eBay Community site not all that user-friendly. Thank you.
