Donating a collection
Does anyone have experience / advice on how / where to donate a doll collection. Mostly Effanbee, Robin Woods, Susanne Gibson & Pauline. Mostly vinyl but some porcelain. In boxes. I was hoping for a hospital or care center for families. I cannot afford to pay to ship them, so it would have to be a pick up of some kind. ( we are in South Carolina) Thanks very much for any info.

Does anyone recognize this porcelain doll makers signature?
I found this porcelain doll at an estate sale. Its in really good condition so I do not think it is old. The head, feet and hands are porcelain. It is signed on the back of the neck. Very high on the neck, stamped into the porcelain under glaze is the number 5 or letter S. It is really hard to tell. On the neck stamped into the porcelain under glaze is the word Germany. It is also very hard to make out. Over the word Germany is a small X. Under that signed into the porcelain is the name GM lano. Next to that is either "78" or "28" or "2B" Im hoping someone would recognize the GM lano signature. The doll is about 14 inches tall. TIA for any info.

Hi. First post. I sell barbies, both vintage and NRFB. I have a Dancing with the Stars prototype doll that was sold by FAO Schwarz a few years back. I am loathe to list something of that $$ amount on ebay. any thoughts? thanks,

Vintage Pixie D'Anton Jos dolls
Hi Doll collectors, I am new to ebay and haven't yet sold stuff. I have 3 D'Anton Jos dolls, as new, in original boxes. They have tabs/ certificates of authentication. One is the Pixie King, dressed in red velvet, and very handsome, the Pixie Princess (Queen?) is dressed in a gorgeous dress and has long red silky hair. The last one is dressed completely in black, looks like a Witchfinder! All three are just beautiful, and I'm not sure how to get them valued- any advice please? Thanks in advance, Dawn

Trunk Full of Dolls Found
This creepy trunk full of dolls and doll parts was left by the previous owners of a house I recently bought. I know ZERO about dolls, but this trunk has me curious. Does anyone on this forum have any clues or histories. Perhaps a collector can find some joy in them? Or use them in some way? They are clearly very old. I find the flamenco lady , but besides that I have little interest in keeping them. The pictures show any unique markings or characteristics I could find. All of the eyes open and close, so they'll be staying in that trunk. : Just hair. Clearly human. I think this says "ALEX" or something? )
