Please help me with vintage ashtray w/monkeys signed Anri
I picked up this funky wood ashtray with the three wise monkeys. I was shocked to see an Anri foil label on the underside as well as "Anri" stamped on the wood. Nothing about these monkeys looks like Anri to me and my bet guess would have been Japan. I've sold my fair share of articulated monkeys marked Denmark and am pretty acquainted with these guys. I have not found either this ashtray online, nor any Anri monkeys is style.
Any ideas? Thanks for looking
